A room, diagonally bifurcated with a mesh partition, forms a most immediate chamber that houses stereo monitors and a bench. Cables and wires tethered to a network of sound equipment snake through sand that is buffering the space between the floor and walls. Through the mesh partition, the further region introduces a steel basin, that is catching water that drips from a glass vessel onto a suspended cloth. A hydrophone buried in the center of the basin records the changing patterns of the water, while a light listener converting variation of light intensity to sound monitors the changing incandescent and natural conditions in the space. The hydrophone and light listener signals are put into a mixer, in the far corner and partitioned with a mesh panel, that pans out to the left and right channels of the stereo monitors.
